USB Flash Drives

USB/USB flash drives

How to play videos, pictures, or music with a USB flash drive?

a. After the projector is turned on, insert the U disk, and the U disk icon will pop up on the projection screen.
b. Play video and select “Movie”; play music, select “Music”; play picture, and click “Photo”.

Note: The projector does not support a U disk to play word documents, PPT, and other document files, if you want to play related documents, please use the computer to play through the HDMI cable.

The USB did not show.

If the U disk icon does not pop up, it may be a problem with the U disk. Please try to change a U disk made of ABS material. Sometimes there are incompatibility problems with the U disk made of iron.

Note: The projector does not support a U disk to play word documents, PPT, and other document files, if you want to play related documents, please use the computer to play through the HDMI cable.

Plug in a USB and it says ‘not supported’.

This issue may arise if your USB flash drive is formatted in exFAT or exceeds 32 GB in size. Our current projector supports USB flash drives formatted in FAT32 or NTFS. It does not support the exFAT format. Additionally, please note that the projector can only recognize flash drives with a capacity of up to 32 GB.

Why can’t I detect USB, even if the video format is MP4?

If you use the USB drive, especially on a MAC, use MS-DOS. DO NOT USE ex-FAT or FAT32. They don’t seem to be recognized. Also, NTFS works as well, but that is a Windows format.
